The limits of what this publication offers: general information, not professional advice.

Last updated 18 October 2026 · Applies to Daily AI Brief

Daily AI Brief publishes general information about artificial intelligence. This page explains what that information is — and, more importantly, what it is not.

General information only

Everything on this site is published for general informational and educational purposes. It is written for a broad professional audience and cannot account for your situation, your constraints or your risk tolerance. It is not a substitute for advice from someone who knows your circumstances.

Not professional advice

Nothing here is legal, financial, investment, tax, medical, employment or regulatory-compliance advice.

We frequently write about AI regulation, the cost of running models, the legal exposure created by training data, and how tools affect jobs. Those articles describe a landscape; they do not tell you what to do. Before you act on anything you read here, consult a qualified professional in the relevant field and jurisdiction.

Where we mention a company, a funding round or a share price, it is reporting, never a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.

Accuracy and timeliness

AI moves quickly. An article is accurate to the best of our knowledge on the day it is published, and specifications, prices, model capabilities, licence terms and availability often change shortly afterwards. We do not warrant that any article remains current, complete or error-free.

Always confirm critical details — pricing, licence terms, regional availability, security posture — against the vendor's own documentation before you rely on them.

Testing and benchmarks

Where we test a tool, we describe what we ran and on what. Results reflect that configuration at that moment. Your hardware, data, prompts, region, model version and settings will produce different numbers. Treat our figures as one data point, not as a guarantee of performance.

Reviews are opinion

Reviews, comparisons and rankings express our editorial judgement. Reasonable people disagree about software. Our opinion of a tool is not a statement of verifiable fact about its quality, and it may change as the product does. How we reach those judgements is set out in our Editorial Policy, and how we are funded in the Affiliate Disclosure.

Use of AI in producing this site

We use AI tools in our own workflow — for research, transcription, drafting assistance and code. Every article is reviewed and edited by a person before publication, and a named human author is accountable for it. Our Editorial Policy describes exactly where AI is and is not used. AI systems make confident mistakes; so do people. That is why the accuracy caveats above apply regardless of how a draft began.

External links and third-party content

We link to sources, documentation, repositories and tools. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security, products, pricing or privacy practices. A link is provided for your convenience and does not imply endorsement. Follow them at your own risk.

Trade marks and affiliation

Product names, logos and brands mentioned here belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively, for identification and commentary. Their use does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation between those owners and Daily AI Brief, in either direction, unless we say so explicitly in the article.

No warranty, and your own responsibility

This site and its content are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any action you take on the basis of what you read here is taken at your own risk, and we are not liable for the outcome. The Terms of Use set out the full limitation of liability.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, we want to fix it. Tell us through the contact page. We correct errors of fact promptly and note significant corrections on the article itself — see the Editorial Policy for how that works.
